The new production nursery in the Al Ain region will provide trees, palms, shrubs, groundcovers and turf.
As well as producing exotic plants that are suited to United Arab
Emirates’ project requirements, the company is committed to
research and development of hardy native species that will enhance The Directors have been involved in the research and development (over 18 years) of Australian native plants, many of which are now popular landscaping plants. The trend towards using native plants in Australian landscapes started around 30 years ago and has resulted in a wide range of plants to suit a diversity of conditions. As many areas of Australia are drought affected, there has been great emphasis placed on the use of sustainable native species. Already, the Directors have researched which Australian species are suited to the climatic conditions (including some soil types) of the United Arab Emirates. Initially, these plants would be imported and grown on and ultimately would be produced at the Company’s facilities in the Al Ain area. To assist government departments, landscape architects,
